Christina Rene Hendricks (born May 3, 1975) is an American actress and former model. With an extensive career on screen and stage, she has received various accolades including two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Critics' Choice Awards as well as nominations for six Primetime Emmy Awards. She is known for her role as Joan Harris in the critically acclaimed AMC drama series Mad Men. Christina Hendricks (born 3 May 1975) is an Americanactress of movie, stage, television and video games. She is best known for portraying the roles of Joan Harris in the AMC period drama series Mad Men (2007–2015), and Beth Boland in the NBC comedy-drama series Good Girls (2018–2021). Prior to this, Hendricks had starring roles as Kelly Kramer in the Showtime comedy-drama series Beggars and Choosers (2000–2001), Saffron in the Fox drama series Firefly (2002–2003), and Nicolette Raye in the UPN legal drama series Kevin Hill (2004–2005).

Christina was born in Knoxville, TN. When she was three, her family moved to Twin Falls, ID. There she lived until moving to California to try acting as a profession. Her first real gigs were a commercial for Clean & Clear Strips and a made for TV movie entitled "Sorority" in which she played the character, Fawn. That year she was also casted for a Showtime comedy, Beggars and Choosers, as Kelly Kramer. That show lasted for two seasons. During that time she did a four episode arc on Undressed as Rhiannon and an episode of Angel as a Bar Maid.

After Beggars and Choosers ended dig some spots on current shows including a four episode arc on ER, two episodes of Firefly as Saffron, an enigmatic thief, and a cast member on the independent film, "Project: Valkyrie", about a guy, Jim, who inherits a 1940's giant robot
