Born many years ago in rural Rutherford County, Tennessee ... attended school at Lascassas, Tennessee, for twelve years ... lived and worked in Nashville, Tennessee ... earned a degree in Information System Management and Accounting and Masters in Business Administration from Belmont University in Nashville. Returned home to Rutherford County ... My elderly cousin gave me a timeless gift, our family history, and I was "hooked." I expanded that gift to genealogy, local history and the search for "Our Roots." I maintain a data base of approximately 36,000 names of families who settled or came through Middle Tennessee. I have complied southern history and family stories in "Our Roots" for your enjoyment. While in Nashville, I also wrote a bartending and entertainment guide about local night life. It is available for Kindle. Recently, I have added "Life in the County," Volumes 1 - 5 which includes diaries of lives of real people around 1900.
