Born in Grenoble in 1969. French A-level in 1987. Graduated in 1991 in French law (Maîtrise de droit) with a specialisation in English law from Grenoble University (Pierre Mendes-France). The last year of this course was at the University of Kent, Canterbury. From 1992-93 she specialised in European Community law (Diplôme d'études supérieures spécialisées en droit communautaire), graduating from Jean Moulin University, Lyon. CFPA (Certificat de formation à la profession d'avocat), law school and qualification for Grenoble Bar in 1995. Lawyer in Cabinet Jean Nantermoz in Grenoble from 1996 to 1998. Lawyer in Groupe Mornay, Paris from 1999 to 2000. Course Director for the Academy since March 2002 and Head of Business Law since May 2007.

Florence Hartmann (born 17 February 1963) is a French journalist and author. During the 1990s she was a correspondent in the Balkans for the French newspaper Le Monde. In 1999 she published her first book, Milosevic, la diagonale du fou (Milosevic, the opposite of crazy), reissued by Gallimard in 2002. From October 2000 until October 2006 she was official spokesperson and Balkan adviser to Carla Del Ponte, chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague.

On 19 July 2011, the Appeals Chamber of the ICTY upheld the first instance decision to convict Hartmann of contempt of court for the section of text called "Vital genocide documents concealed" in her

Florence Hartmann (17. veljače 1963. – ), francuska novinarka i spisateljica. Od 1987. pisala je za Le Monde o Balkanu, a početkom 1991. o Jugoslavenskim ratovima. Izvještaje je slala iz Beograda.[1] 1985. diplomirala je te stekla titulu magistra iz područja literature i stranih civilizacija na sveučilištu u Parizu. 1986. se udala u Beogradu za supruga iz SFR Jugoslavije, čiji je materinji jezik bio srpskohrvatski. S njim je dobila dvoje djece: sina 1988. i kćer 1989., koji su se rodili u Francuskoj.[2]

2000. je postala glasnogovornica za Međunarodni krivični sud za bivšu Jugoslaviju (MKSJ) u Hagu te savjetnica glavnoj tužiteljici MKSJ-a Carli Del Ponte.Godine 1992. bila je jedna od prvih novinara koji su otkrili lokaciju Ovčare, te je 2006. svjedočila pred MKSJ-om protiv "vukovarske trojke".[1] Konkretno, tvrdi da je Veselin Šljivančanin 1992. u intervjuu izjavio sljedeće kad ga je pitala o Ovčari: "Morali smo negdje zakopati tijela".[3] Godine 1999. objavila je prvu knjigu, Milošević, dijagonala luđaka.
