Che'Nelle (シェネル), born Cheryline Lim on March 10, 1983, is a Malaysian-born Australian recording artist active in Japan. In 2005 she was signed to Virgin Records America, an imprint of EMI. In 2007 she released her debut album "Things Happen for a Reason", followed by a Special Japanese Edition in 2008 which reached #12 on the Oricon. In 2010 Che'Nelle released her first Japanese exclusive album "Feel Good", followed by her breakthrough "Luv Songs" in 2011, an album of covers which became a huge hit, reaching #3 on the Oricon and being certified Platinum for sales. In 2012, Che'Nelle released her first Japanese language album "Believe".

Cheryline Lim was born 10 March 1983. She was born to a Bornean-born Chinese father, and a mother of a mixed of Indian and Dutch heritage. Chenelle Roberts is a prolific vocal performer throughout the Calgary area. She is an active member of Calgary’s vibrant musical community as a solo artist and collaborates with local bands, orchestras, and choral ensembles in the city. Chenelle currently holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Calgary. Often sought after for her solo performances, Chenelle shows her versatility lending her talents to multiple genres from classical to rhythm and blues.   She has performed at a number of local events including Calgary Folk Festival, Calgary Stampede, Unison Festival, and Femmewave. She is currently working on the release of her debut album with band Lost Decade.
