BIO
Jeremy Merton Sisto (born October 6, 1974) is an American actor. He is known for his roles as Billy Chenowith in HBO's Six Feet Under, NYPD Detective Cyrus Lupo in NBC's Law & Order, George Altman in the ABC sitcom Suburgatory, for which he was nominated for a Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, and Jubal Valentine in the CBS drama series FBI. He has appeared in such films as Clueless (1995), Suicide Kings (1997), Jesus (1999), Thirteen (2003), and Waitress (2007).
In 2004, he portrayed bigoted baseball player Shane Mungitt in Take Me Out, for which he was nominated for a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Featured Performance in a Play. In 2006, Sisto starred in Festen on Broadway. Sisto co-wrote the screenplay for the comedy film Break Point (2014), in which he also starred. In 2015, he starred in A&E's The Returned. From 2016 to 2018, Sisto portrayed Freddy Green in the Audience Network drama series Ice.

Biography[]
Jeremy Sisto's career has moved effortlessly between film, television and theater, and he has continued to have a constant presence throughout the entertainment industry.
Sisto made his first major impression on television as bipolar artist Billy Chenowith on "Six Feet Under." In its five-year run, the show earned three Golden Globe Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards and 25 Emmy nominations.
Additional television credits include "Ice," "Wicked City," "The Returned," "Kidnapped," "Law & Order" and "Suburgatory." Also, he starred in National Geographic's television miniseries "The Long Road Home."

While not a marquee name, actor Jeremy Sisto rightfully earned a solid reputation in dozens of supporting and leading man roles. Sisto made his feature film debut while still in high school, playing Kevin Kline's son in Lawrence Kasdan's ensemble drama, "Grand Canyon" (1991). He quickly racked up a number of supporting roles opposite Hollywood's most popular names in such high-profile films as "Clueless" (1995) and "White Squall" (1996).
Recognized for a calm intensity he brought to his characters, he went on to win the title role of the messiah in the biblical drama "Jesus" (CBS, 2000), opposite the likes of Jacqueline Bisset and Gary Oldman. Sisto gained further recognition for his recurring role on all five seasons of "Six Feet Under" (HBO, 2001-05) as Billy Chenoweth, the emotionally troubled brother of Brenda (Rachel Griffiths). During that time he took the lead in another sweeping television biopic, this time as the Roman emperor "Caesar" (TNT, 2002).
